Subcontractor Top 10 List From The 2017 Tax Reform

If you are an owner-operator of a small construction company or work for a larger, second-tier subcontractor, you may have heard that there was a recent tax reform. How will this impact your company come tax time?

Sarah Windham of Dixson Hughes Goodman, LLP (DHG) published a top 10 list for subcontractors on January 17, 2018. She will also be speaking on the Tax Reform next month at the Charleston Chapter Meeting on April 23.  Follow the link to register for this free event where she can answer your questions about these Tax Reforms.

During her talk, Sarah will explain all the details that will affect your taxes for the coming years. One of the most significant issues is depreciation calculation: the requirement that the property be new was removed and replaced with a requirement that the property simply be new to the taxpayer.

How will this impact your tax returns for 2017? Come find out on April 23rd!
